Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Giroux EQ Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

The Giroux EQ Platform provides emotional intelligence assessments, training modules, tabletop crisis simulations, 360° feedback, an AI EQ Coach, certifications, and team and program analytics designed for cybersecurity professionals and academic institutions. The platform is based on the "Stop Training Robots" methodology developed by Jamie Giroux.

The EQ Coach and assessment analysis are generated with the help of a third-party AI model (see our Privacy Policy). They are development guidance, not professional, medical, legal, or employment advice, and may be inaccurate; you remain responsible for decisions you make.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. Two-factor authentication is available under Settings → Security and is recommended for administrators.

If you join through an organization or an institution, its administrators can see your results and manage your membership as described in the Privacy Policy, and may remove you from their organization or course. If you launch the platform from a learning management system, your institution's LMS administrator controls that integration.

You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan, through our payment processor, Stripe. All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated; applicable taxes may be added. You authorize us to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees. Individual plans begin with a free trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan converts to paid. Team plans are billed per seat with a minimum seat count.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and can be made from the Billing page at any time. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle. Academic cohort purchases are one-time payments for a fixed access period and are non-refundable after student access has been distributed. If a payment fails, we will notify you and retry; access may be suspended if the balance is not settled. Complimentary and trial access granted by the platform team may be ended at our discretion.

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of professional and academic development. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the assessment algorithms, scoring models, or training content.

You may not share your account credentials, redistribute platform content, or use automated tools to access the service without our written permission. You may not use the platform to harass, evaluate for discriminatory purposes, or surveil other people, or submit content to the journal or coach that you do not have the right to share.

Assessment results are development tools. Organizations agree to use them to support their people's growth, and not as the sole basis for hiring, discipline, or termination decisions.

All content on the platform, including The Giroux Methodology™, the Giroux EQ Framework, assessment instruments, training modules, tabletop scenarios, and associated documentation, is the intellectual property of Integrated Intelligence Inc. and is protected by copyright and trademark law. The Giroux Methodology™ and Human Better are trademarks of Integrated Intelligence Inc.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform content for personal or organizational development purposes only.

The Giroux EQ Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that assessment results will achieve any particular outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Integrated Intelligence Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
